Building on decades of professional communication experience, TecEd practitioners have honed their expertise in questionnaire design, creating surveys that deliver the vital feedback necessary for business decisions. Some examples:

  • Multiple surveys of social networking users and digital entertainment consumers for an electronics manufacturer. TecEd built scenarios and used images to help ensure the survey questions were clear and unambiguous. We also used split-survey methodology to collect responses to a large number of questions within the constraints of a 10-minute survey.
  • A “true intent” survey for a major home goods manufacturer to understand how well their website was serving the needs of its target audiences. TecEd surveyed 1,000 people, then recommended improvements to the user experience of site visitors.
  • A three-phase research project for a major online shopping site to explore visitor and registered user shopping behavior. The research included online surveys to collect quantitative data from 1,600 people in four target audience groups, in-home ethnographic interviews to learn about shopping behavior, and focus groups to collect “social” insights into the barriers that prevent people from registering on shopping websites.
